On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, two Naval Aviators: Lt. Cmdr. Lyndsay "Miley" Evans and Lt. Serena "Dug" Wileman made the ultimate sacrifice while conducting a training flight near Mount Rainier in Washington. Both aviators were from Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 130, "Zappers,” based out of Naval Air Station Whidbey Island.
